“Well worth the investment”
“This was my first book, and the self-publishing process felt overwhelming. I knew I wanted a high-quality cover but had no idea where to begin—and by that stage of the project, decision fatigue had set in. Thankfully, a client introduced me to INABC, and it was exactly what I needed. The beautiful covers on the website caught my attention right away, and Zoe’s guidance in crafting a creative brief gave me clarity about my vision. Her practical tips for evaluating designers, along with the extra hands-on support, made the selection process much easier. It was well worth the investment.
Working with my designer, Beth, was a joy. She was intuitive, responsive to feedback, and captured my vision perfectly. The multiple cover mock-ups she presented were stunning and after such a positive experience, I confidently asked her to design the interior as well. Beyond her artistic talent, Beth’s project management skills kept everything on track.
I’m deeply grateful to both Beth and Zoe for helping transform this book from an idea into reality.”

From 10 great candidates to a single winning match
“I assumed finding a book cover designer would be straightforward, but it was a lot more challenging than I expected. I spent hours on various freelance platforms, carefully vetting designers, reviewing portfolios, and having detailed conversations to make sure we were on the same page—only to be disappointed, time after time. After going through three different designers who couldn’t bring my vision to life, I realized I needed a platform that specialized in experienced, vetted book cover designers.
Then I found INeedABookCover.com, and it was exactly what I’d been looking for. The process helped me refine my vision and communicate it clearly. After posting my project, I received over ten inquiries from designers, all of whom had relevant experience in book cover design. This allowed me to choose someone who truly understood the level of detail and creativity I was aiming for.
INeedABookCover.com made it easy to connect with the right designer, and I finally got the professional, high-quality cover I’d been hoping for. Highly recommend!”

Success at last!
“When I started looking for a cover designer, I looked everywhere. INABC stood out immediately for its direct access to top-quality talent. The designers listed here have worked on some of my favorite covers. Since my book combines science fiction and political satire, I knew it might be a design challenge, and I needed a designer who could collaborate with me on a standout cover. Thankfully, that’s exactly what I found on INABC. I love the cover Matt designed—it’s been a great experience, I’ve learned a lot, and I look forward to using the platform again for future projects.”

C. Cree received nearly 40 responses to her brief.
“In a way, cover design is more important than the book itself because potential readers won’t look closer if the cover isn’t engaging. And if the cover is a mismatch to the book, readers could be unhappy with the story they find inside even if the book is good.
The cover design for my first book was a challenge: a true crime, biographical, historical fiction, mystery with touches of horror. I had no idea where to find designers who could handle the job until someone recommended INeedABookCover.
The submission process at INABC was simple and straightforward, and helped me clarify my tastes and needs. I received almost 40 responses in the first week, from designers with portfolios showcasing many different and compelling styles.
I hired a designer a week later and am thrilled with the final design.”
