Amanda Hudson graduated from the University of Iowa with a BFA in Graphic Design in 2009. Since then, she has designed for a variety of industries but is happily settled into the great wide world of publishing.
She currently works for Faceout Studio in Central Oregon. When she’s not staring at computer screens she prefers to be outside hiking, biking, or playing in the dirt. The PNW has become home but she’s still happy to give you all the reasons why the midwest is best.
In June 2023, Amanda spoke on the topic of “Killed Covers” along with other cover designers as part of the opening presentation at The Annual Meeting of the Association of University Presses, the premier professional development and networking event for university press and nonprofit scholarly publishers.
