Pete Garceau grew up in Sunapee, New Hampshire. He graduated from The College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY with a BA in Graphic Design and soon after, began working as a book cover designer for St. Martin’s Press in Manhattan. Three years later, in 2008, he became the art director for PublicAffairs books.
He now lives in Hanover, NH with his wife and son, and continues his role as art director for PublicAffairs. He designs covers for other publishers including Penguin Random House, Simon & Schuster, W. W. Norton, St. Martin’s Press, Little, Brown & Company, Hachette Book Group, and Knopf Doubleday. He has a fast-growing passion for photography and enjoys skiing, biking, climbing, and hanging out with his dog Murray.
