Lesley Worrell is currently an Associate Art Director at Tor/Forge Books, where she designs captivating book covers. With over a decade of experience, Lesley creates more than 60 book covers annually, spanning a diverse range of genres including Literary Fiction, Commercial Fiction, Nonfiction, Science Fiction/Fantasy, Mysteries, Young Adult, and Romance. Her expertise encompasses all aspects of graphic design, from concept development and typography to managing the entire cover design process from inception to pre-press.
Her work history includes impactful roles at St. Martin’s Press, Penguin Random House, and Macmillan. At Penguin Random House, she designed cohesive looks for series and bestsellers, while at St. Martin’s Press, she managed cover design projects and collaborated with freelance talent. She also held positions at Open Road Integrated Media and Behind the Book.
