Janet Hansen is an art director at Alfred A. Knopf (a division of book publisher Penguin Random House) and a multidisciplinary graphic designer working with additional clients such as New Directions, Kenyon Review, A Public Space, and Plan Architecture. She also teaches designing with type at the School of Visual Arts. She currently lives in a little old house in Montclair, New Jersey with her husband, daughter, and two whippets.
