Anna Morrison is a UK-based freelance art director, book cover designer, and illustrator. She works mainly in publishing, designing book covers for a variety of clients in the UK and internationally.
Read this Q&A between Anna and PRINT Mag to get to know her and her practice a little better. When asked why she likes her job, Anna said, “I feel ever so grateful to have found this job. It combines all the things I love. I cannot imagine doing anything else. To be asked to interpret someone’s stories and ideas is a huge privilege, and it carries a huge responsibility to the author.”
To hear her discuss how the UK cover for Natasha Lunn’s Conversations on Love came about, read this article from Penguin Books. In 2022, Anna provided illustrations for a Faber & Faber product launch. You can read about that project here.
