Kevin Barrett Kane is an award-winning book designer, typographer, and educator living in Colorado. He has been designing book covers and interiors since 2012. He co-founded The Frontispiece book design studio in 2015 and now serves as the senior book designer at the University of California Press. His freelance clients included Chronicle Books, Letterform Archive, Wilsted & Taylor, Stanford University Press, and The Crocker Museum.
Kevin earned a degree from Type West 2020, where he designed the fonts Bremer Antiqua, FPO, Rosc Geometric, and Mustard Sans, all of which are in-progress for an official public release. He is the co-founder of
WordCooker.
